Craigafon Cottage - Snowdon Cottages

Craigafon is ideally located at the foot of the Llanberis path, to the summit of Snowdon. It is a very pretty cottage offering a very comfortable home from home. Included in the facilities is an enclosed patio area which has a summer house.

Ideal for the warm summer evenings and throughout the year. Free parking is available for guests at a nearby hotel, 50 meters away from Craigafon. There is secure bike storage if needed.

The space

The space is made for very relaxed living – perfect for coming back to after a day out adventuring. Whatever that may be, our house gives you a clean, warm, dry and relaxed place to return to.

Karen & Mal currently live in Liverpool but for many years have spent a lot of of their leisure time in Snowdonia. So can recommend lots of things to do based on interests you have.

We both love hill and coastal walking and Mal loves running in the hills , taking part in Ultra races and climbing. We can suggest all sorts from good walks, top trails, climbing spots, road ride routes and much more before you arrive.

Guest access

Both double rooms are equipped with a pocket sprung medium firm mattress and cotton sheets. The duvet and pillows are feather. The rooms are cosy and warm.
There is a travel cot and a hygenic matress with a small amount of baby /toddler bedding.

There is one bathroom shared by both bedrooms which has a big double bath with a hansgrohe mixer shower over it. A stone basin and shaver plug sockets top off the bathroom and a heated towel rail.

The living room has a wood burning stove for use in the winter, surround sound and a Smart, curved screen TV & Amazon fire stick, with Alexa voice control.
There is the option of using the Apple TV, if you have an Apple TV account and and Chromecast if you download the app. The house has unlimited fibre optic broadband.

The kitchen is well kitted out benefiting from good quality cook wear, a big 6 ring gas/electric oven, fridge space, dishwasher and much more.

Other things to note

Your pets are more than welcome. However we ask that you keep them downstairs and that you keep them off the soft furnishings, if possible. If this isn’t possible, we ask that you use the throws provided.
